SNOCF 2026 Grant Application

SNOCF Mission Statement

The School Nurses of California Foundation elevates the practice of school nursing by:

  1. Promoting practice innovation through grants

  2. Engaging in partnerships with professional, educational, and community agencies

  3. Providing resources related to advocacy, best practices, legislative policy, and current issues impacting school practice

  4. Including diverse perspectives and inclusive practices in all initiatives

SNOCF Vision Statement

California school nurses are empowered to optimize their role as champions of health, supporting the well-being of all school communities.

We encourage proposals that address social determinants of health (SDoH) in school communities (e.g., food insecurity; access to primary, dental, and behavioral health care; housing instability; transportation barriers; language access and health literacy; digital access; and supports for chronic condition management and student well-being) through school nurse–led assessment, referral, care coordination, and school-based interventions.

Please prepare your grant application with SNOCF’s mission and vision in mind, as your proposal will be evaluated based on its alignment with these guiding statements.
